Two MEFGL NERC ENVISION Phd opportunities now recruiting!

We are delighted to report that this year, the MEFGL will be recruiting for 2 potential NERC ENVISION PhD candidates to pursue research programmes in the areas of the “molecular genetic assessment of pollens and hayfever” and “exploring the functional biodiversity of Atlantic salmon microbiomes in wild and farmed fish”. • Pollen forecast 2020: using DNA metabarcoding to assess aerial pollen mixtures and identify linkages to hay fever 
• From morphology to microbiome: integrated common garden-genomic studies in Atlantic salmon (Salmo salar)
